Definitions of Terms & status
A. Max. Height: The maximum height from the ground rises
B. Pick Up Zone: The maximum wire from the ground + 1000mm
C. Floating Zone = Max. Height - Pick Up Zone
D. Hook Swing: When Hook is shaken in a floating state, reflector detection is repeated On / Off.
E. Hook Set: When Hook is shaken in a floating state, the distance of the reflector is generally detected without swaying.
F. No Set: sensors detect something but not a reflector.
G. No Object: when the sensor detects nothing (If detected outside the range)
H. T_Pend: half a period time about Hook swaying
.I. SNAG Fault: Hook was leaving when the hoist rises.
J. System Fault: The sensor is abnormal or the input signal of the inverter is abnormal.
System Configuration
The distance value detected by the sensor in conjunction with a crane driving signal from the controller to deliver real-time RS485 communication hoist control panel and inverter determines whether caused snag.

KTS Anti-snag System
Occasionally, when crane hooks operate accidently get caught on a piece of equipment or structural element of a building while in motion.
Often this happens before the operator has time to react and prevent damage to the load, the crane or other machines.
The KTS anti-Snag System Prevention feature automatically stops crane movement in such a situation by the upper laser sensor on cranes
when a hook rise up accidentally catches on something while the trolley or bridge is in motion.
We need to know sway to take control of it. The reason sway is produced, and what factors affect the production of sway is explained in the structure described in Figure [3-1].
Figure [3-1]
The optical sensor is installed on an upper trolley that detects the position of the reflection plate. It determines the alignment of the trolley position and the hook by this process
if not read the distance value then automatically stop to rise up hook then precents a snag (the phenomenon of displacement load)
